Welcome to the Swamp Pop Cafe, a Louisiana Cajun restaurant located 8 miles east of Hwy. 61 and Hwy. 22 in Head of Island, Louisiana. The Swamp Pop Café offers a casual and friendly environment filled with the sounds of Swamp Pop music from South Louisiana artists. Our menu features authentic Cajun family recipes passed down for generations, in addition to fried seafood, seasonal boiled seafood, USDA Black Angus rib eye steaks and a full short-order menu.

You will be able to, pick up fresh seafood from the Swamp Pop Cafe seafood market, or smoked or fresh pork products prepared with the same recipe used for 40 years by Paw-Paw and Maw-Maw Guitrau at Guitrau's Sausage Kitchen in nearby French Settlement.
Looking for a treat of the liquid variety? Visit the Swamp Pop Lounge next door, a full-service bar complete with an outdoor area we call the "Gorgée Jardin," meaning "Gulping Garden" in Cajun French. You won't want to miss our special events in the "Jardin" featuring performances from area Swamp Pop bands.
